Dave originally hails from the flat lands of Alexandria, Indiana, so he is very familiar with small town life.  He and his wife Trisha moved to the beautiful Hoosier hills of Lawrence County in 1994, where he served as the youth minister for Bedford First Baptist Church for over 18 years . In 2014, God added a really cool twist to his journey and it led to him to joining our staff in this pioneering role.

Dave brings with him over 30 years of youth ministry experience, the experience of raising two teenagers himself, and a passion for lost and hurting young people. He also shares a heart for encouraging youth workers around our county.
